UTILE Griffintown

Construction of a large-scale multi-residential building featuring 285 affordable rental units for students across 19 storeys, located in the heart of Griffintown district, in Montreal.
Future residents will benefit from an innovative architectural design that maximizes natural sunlight, as well as a rooftop terrace, green spaces shared with the community, and 236 indoor bicycle parking spaces.
In addition, the project is part of a heritage preservation approach, paying tribute to the former Presbytère de l’église Sainte-Hélène, which later served as a school and other functions before the church’s demolition in 1971. Common areas will be integrated to meet the diverse needs of both residents and the surrounding community.
