Mirabel agricultural training centre
Construction work began in August 2019 on the new horticultural complex at the Centre de formation agricole de Mirabel. The new complex consists of 6 twin greenhouses, a multi-purpose room, a workshop and a sandbox to enable horticultural production and landscaping students to carry out their apprenticeships in an adapted, state-of-the-art environment.
The work was organized into 6 phases: dismantling of existing greenhouses, site preparation, new construction, general demolition and temporary structures, final site redevelopment, and upgrading of the garage.
Tisseur had a duty to ensure the safety and protection of occupants throughout its worksite, as the school farm grounds, greenhouses #4, 5, 6 and 7 and the garage had to remain operational throughout the duration of the work.
