Albedo and CPE Mistigri

Project Complete
Construction of a seniors' residence offering 128 units, along with a CPE daycare.

The L'Albédo project, led by La Bouée, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and development of community housing, and supported by the technical resource group Action-Habitation, is a seniors' residence offering 128 units. In addition, part of the ground floor will house the new facilities of the CPE La Petite Cour de Mistigri, creating a highly beneficial intergenerational mix.

This project is truly unique in Quebec for its focus on energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. Indeed, the building was designed with the goal of minimizing energy consumption and GHG emissions throughout its entire life cycle. For example, the building will be heated using a system that recovers waste heat from the Centre des glaces, and will be temperature-regulated through geothermal energy.

Residents can now enjoy their new, safe, and modern living environment.
