Renovation of Berth 46 at the Port of Montreal
Project Complete
Refurbishment of the 46SE and 46S port berths within the context of ongoing operations. This includes underwater works, such as installing anti-scouring protections and repairing cracks, to reinforce the berths' stability and safety. Measures were implemented to mitigate operational and environmental impacts.
The aim of the Berth 46 refurbishment project is to improve the stability and safety of Berths 46SE and 46E. This involves installing anti-scraping protection at the base of the caissons, repairing cracks and cavities in the berth façade, and carrying out underwater excavation work followed by the installation of formwork and concrete. Conducted over a six-month period, the project demanded constant adaptation to port operations, agile planning and execution, and strict adherence to environmental standards in the river context.
