Maison des aînés Chandler

Tisseur is proud to continue its momentum and put its expertise to work on the delivery of the Maisons des aînés in Quebec. This time, it's the one located in Chandler, in the Gaspé region.
The project comprises 48 units to serve the community's senior population. Notably, this is a BIM (Building Information Modeling) project, a new construction project management method built around a 3D digital model of the structure. Among other benefits, this new approach allows all professionals involved to better understand, manage, and maintain buildings.
This mandate, awarded through a call for tenders for both general contracting and interior systems, is Tisseur's first in this more remote region. It reflects our determination to leave our mark on Quebec's built environment.
Work is set to be completed in fall 2025.
A significant official groundbreaking ceremony took place on July 5, 2024, with prominent dignitaries in attendance, including our Premier, Mr. François Legault. He was joined by the Minister responsible for Seniors, Ms. Sonia Bélanger — MNA for Prévost in the National Assembly, and the MNA for Bonaventure, Ms. Catherine Blouin — MNA for Bonaventure in the National Assembly. We were present to mark the official launch of construction on this significant project in the Gaspé region. Read the Radio-Canada article on the subject.
