Espace Riopelle - Pavillon Michael Audain

The project includes both transformations to the existing site, such as partial demolition and structural reinforcement, as well as the construction of a new three‑storey building carefully integrated into the museum complex.
The pavilion features a contemporary architectural design that emphasizes natural light, high‑quality materials, and strong connections to the surrounding landscape. Inside, the project includes:
permanent and temporary exhibition galleries
visitor and interpretation spaces
storage and technical areas
immersive environments dedicated to Riopelle’s artistic universe
The development also incorporates landscaped outdoor spaces inspired by the natural environments that influenced the artist’s work, creating a unique place where art, nature, and community converge.
