Jacques-Cartier Bridge Maintenance Center

The maintenance center located at the foot of the Jacques Cartier Bridge in Longueuil stands out for its contemporary architecture and functional design, tailored to meet both industrial and administrative needs. The L-shaped building, spread over three levels, houses a garage, a workshop, storage areas, mechanical equipment, and administrative offices.
Its steel structure rises two stories high, topped by an architectural truss reaching a height of 25 meters on the third floor. A 5.5-meter cantilever adds a dynamic element to the volume, while the glazed envelope maximizes natural light and gives the building a strong visual identity.
The project also includes a redesigned yard, a rest area, and indoor parking. The integration of a generator ensures energy autonomy for the site, enhancing its resilience.
This project embodies a successful blend of technical performance, operational efficiency, and architectural aesthetics.
