Chief Information Officer
The Chief Information Officer is responsible for defining and steering the company’s technology strategy to support its growth, digital transformation, and operational excellence. He or she ensures the evolution of business systems, technology architecture, data, cybersecurity, and IT services, while acting as a strategic partner to senior management to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
Roles and responsibilities
Lead the technology roadmap and investment priorities;
Design and govern solution, integration, data, and cloud infrastructure architectures;
Oversee ERP implementations, system integrations, and Microsoft programs;
Improve the technology experience for office staff, project teams, and job sites;
Ensure cybersecurity, resilience, compliance, and information protection;
Collaborate directly with senior management, business unit leaders, integrators, and vendors;
Define and lead Tisseur’s IT strategy;
Lead the evolution of enterprise applications and integrations, including Dynamics 365, Acumatica, and specialized construction platforms;
Build capabilities in Azure, Dataverse, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, and Microsoft 365;
Establish frameworks for data governance, cybersecurity, IT services, and partner management;
Develop an IT team capable of sustainably supporting growth and operational excellence;
Perform all other related tasks.
Required skills
A college degree in computer engineering, software engineering, IT-oriented electrical engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field;
At least 12 years of relevant experience, with senior-level responsibility in solutions architecture, enterprise applications, or IT leadership;
Hands-on experience with ERP implementation or transformation and the integration of complex systems;
Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure certifications (strongly preferred);
Proficiency in Dynamics 365, Azure, Dataverse, Power Platform, Power Automate, Fabric, Power BI, SharePoint, and Teams;
Experience working with companies in the construction, infrastructure, engineering, real estate, or large-scale project sectors (strongly preferred);
A solid understanding of regulatory requirements: CCQ, Bill 25, digital sovereignty, hosting in Canada, and the ISO 27001 certification process;
Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and partners as well as with executives and operational teams;
Demonstrate attention to detail, thoroughness, and the ability to work independently;
Ability to foster a collaborative work environment and demonstrate leadership;
