Director of Transformation (PMO)

Montreal

Reporting directly to the President and CEO, the Director of Transformation (PMO) is tasked with implementing Tisseur’s organizational and digital transformation plan—one of the most transformative initiatives in the company’s history. He or she establishes and leads the Transformation Office, oversees the governance of the initiative portfolio, ensures rigorous execution, and quantifies the value generated to inform management decisions. This is a hybrid role by nature: the incumbent produces key deliverables personally during the start-up phase before building his or her team.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Create, structure, and lead the Organizational and Digital Transformation Office (PMO).

  • Establish and maintain the consolidated transformation roadmap—ensuring alignment among technology, organizational, and process initiatives.

  • Develop an ROI analysis framework: quantify benefits, model costs, and produce prioritization reports for executive committees.

  • Oversee the selection and implementation of management systems and tools (ERP, collaborative platforms, project management tools).

  • Prepare and facilitate steering committee meetings; produce progress reports for management, the executive committee, and shareholders.

  • Design and deploy the change management strategy for all initiatives.

  • Coordinate the work of external partners and ensure knowledge transfer to internal teams.

  • Exercise cross-functional leadership influence with functional departments.

Required skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, project management, or a related field; an MBA or additional training in transformation is a plus.

  • 10 to 15 years of experience in managing complex projects, including at least 5 years in a PMO or transformation portfolio role.

  • Proven experience in structuring PMOs, conducting ROI analyses, and presenting to senior leadership.

  • Experience in implementing enterprise systems (ERP, systems integration) and change management.

  • Knowledge of the construction or civil engineering sector—a significant differentiator.

  • Certifications (a plus): PMP, Prosci, PMI-PgMP, PMI-PfMP, Lean Six Sigma, CCMP.

  • Fluency in French; working knowledge of English is a plus.
