Tisseur was commissioned to expand the STL’s garage in response to the gradual electrification of the bus fleet and growing demand for transportation. The final project, covering 23,000 m² on 3 levels, will be completed in 5 phases. Tisseur is responsible for phase 4 of the project. The new facilities will include indoor parking spaces, a new bus exit, an electronics workshop, a satellite store, a warehouse, a workshop and offices, a new employee entrance, mechanical, electrical and computer rooms, as well as outdoor spaces for generators. The building features a steel structure and a suspended glass walkway connecting the extension to the existing building.
