Quality and Integrated Management System (QSSE/IMS) Manager
The Quality and Integrated Management System (QSSE/IMS) Manager contributes to the organization’s continuous improvement by developing and implementing harmonized management practices in the areas of quality, environment, and health and safety. He or she acts as a strategic partner to operations to ensure the compliance, performance, and sustainability of our processes across all Tisseur divisions. The individual will be responsible for translating quality, health and safety, and environmental requirements into concrete and effective practices tailored to the realities of our projects and job sites. The goal will be to develop a simple, high-performing integrated management system aligned with the organization’s growth.
Roles and responsibilities
Translate ISO standards into simple, useful, and practical guidelines for projects and job sites.
Develop the roadmap and architecture for Tisseur’s corporate QMS.
Gradually integrate ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 into a cohesive system.
Develop the necessary policies, processes, standards, templates, audits, and metrics.
Support teams in the gradual rollout of the IMS across projects.
Prepare for the growth of the corporate Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment function.
Harmonize quality, environmental, and health and safety practices within the merged group.
Organize internal audits, management reviews, document control, and evidence of compliance.
Implement rigorous management of nonconformities, corrective actions, root causes, and lessons learned.
Develop corporate standards tailored to different types of projects and client requirements.
Advise and train corporate, project, and site teams.
Coordinate external audits, certifications, and relations with certification bodies.
Work closely with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), Operations, Procurement, Pre-Construction, IT, and Document Management.
Required skills
A university degree in engineering, quality management, environmental studies, health and safety, or a related field.
Approximately 8 to 12 years of experience in quality, QHSE, management systems, or continuous improvement.
Proven experience in construction or infrastructure and a practical understanding of on-site realities.
Actual experience designing or implementing an integrated management system.
Proficiency in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
Lead auditor certification or recognized ISO auditor training is strongly preferred.
Ability to influence, train, streamline, and improve practices without unnecessarily complicating operations.
Demonstrate attention to detail, thoroughness, and independence;
Ability to proactively manage priorities;
Ability to foster a collaborative work environment;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
