Warehouse Clerk

The Warehouse Clerk, reporting to the Supply Manager, ensures the efficient management of daily warehouse operations. Acting as a key link between logistics and supply, he or she ensures the availability, preparation, receipt, organization, and compliance of parts and equipment.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Manage the receipt and shipment of materials;

  • Prepare orders;

  • Manage, verify, and repair returned materials and equipment;

  • Track internal orders;

  • Keep the warehouse, workshop, and storage areas tidy;

  • Place products in the right locations in the garage, warehouse, and on site (“ON TRACK” transfer);

  • Verify the accuracy and condition of ordered products;

  • Keep work, storage, and shipping areas clean, well-organized, and safe;

  • Ensure inventory rotation in accordance with established processes;

  • Assist in conducting physical inventories of various warehouse products according to defined frequencies;

  • Comply with occupational health and safety laws, standards, and procedures;

  • Assist colleagues in managing internal and external operational issues;

  • Manage identification for tools, equipment, machinery, and trailers;

  • Perform any other related tasks.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS :

  • Relevant experience in the construction industry;

  • Knowledge of Hilti's “On Track” system (an asset);

  • Ability to repair small machinery (an asset)

  • Ability to work under pressure;

  • Ability to manage priorities;

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team;

  • Demonstrated manual skills;

  • Be well organized, proactive, and versatile;

  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
