Project Coordinator - Building
The Project Coordinator in our Construction Division, reporting to the Senior Project Coordinator, will be primarily responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Construction Division’s project team.
Roles and responsibilities
Plan and manage various meeting minutes;
Develop a methodology for tracking project emails (SimplyFile);
Manage documentation for specifications, deliverables, and plans;
Complete and submit documentation in collaboration with the OHS Manager;
Conduct the initial mobilization process with the Project Manager;
Revise and distribute the prevention program and communication plan;
Create distribution groups on Procore (subcontractors, professionals, Tisseur staff, etc.);
Upload plans to Procore (for bidding/for construction), schedule, and update;
Compare plan versions between bidding and construction phases and report any discrepancies to the project manager;
Upload specifications and deliverables to Procore and schedule them;
Adjust documents for review;
Prepare documents for sample shipments;
Populate the Procore directory as contracts are awarded and keep it up to date;
File administrative documentation;
Follow up closely with subcontractors to obtain their administrative documents;
Assign deliverables on Procore to the correct subcontractors;
Send 3-step workflows
Required skills
Professional diploma, AEC, or college diploma in accounting, administration, or another relevant field;
3–5 years of experience in accounting or related fields;
Relevant experience in the construction industry;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word);
Ability to work independently and with attention to detail;
Ability to work as part of a team;
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
