Service Offerings Coordinator
Under the supervision of the Pre-Construction Director of the Building Division, the Coordinator plays a key role in preparing construction project bids. The Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Proposal Manager in the various stages of coordinating and preparing bids in response to public and private calls for tenders. He or she also plays a role in preparing documents and organizing and monitoring various initiatives for the department with the Director.
Roles and responsibilities
Analyze calls for tenders: Support management in analyzing opportunities and putting together the bid plan.
Coordinate bids: Gather the information needed to prepare proposals, complete the various forms, and obtain the various administrative documents. Follow up with the various parties involved.
Drafting and formatting: Assist the proposal manager in drafting and structuring service offering documents, creating writing templates, project sheets, resumes, presentations, and other required documents.
Follow up on proposals: Follow up on submitted bids, collect customer feedback, and analyze results to improve future bids.
Manage documentation: Coordinate project launches, grant access, and ensure that the document platform (Procore) for various files is kept up to date.
Update reference documents: Help maintain databases for future bids.
Support the department: Prepare various reports and follow-up documents for management.
Perform all other related tasks.
Required skills
College or university degree in a relevant related field.
Experience in a similar role within an engineering or architecture firm or with a construction contractor (an asset).
Excellent writing and communication skills (French and English).
Organization and rigor to manage multiple files simultaneously.
Ability to meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, InDesign) and bid management software (e.g., Procore, SharePoint, Bluebeam).
Good understanding of construction bidding processes (an asset).
Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills.
