Project Manager - Multi-Housing and Building

The Project Manager in our Buildings Division is responsible for managing large-scale public building construction projects. He/she coordinates the team in place to create a dynamic and efficient work environment. He/she takes part in every stage of the work, ensures that deadlines are met and acts as a point of reference for the various parties involved.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Take charge of, plan, organize, and complete the large-scale construction projects assigned to you (calls for tenders, contractual agreements, contract and service monitoring, etc.);

  • Maintain fluid communication with the team, clients, subcontractors, and professionals;

  • Monitor budgets and prepare work progress reports;

  • Define and monitor schedules;

  • Proactively manage risks, contingencies, and contractual issues;

  • Participate in the continuous improvement of project management processes.

Required skills

  • University degree or college diploma in architecture or building engineering;

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a project manager;

  • Experience in the construction industry is an asset;

  • Ability to read plans and specifications;

  • Knowledge of the PROCORE computer system;

  • Be independent and proactive;

  • Teamwork skills;

  • Be organized;

  • Be versatile;

  • Motivational leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent interpersonal skills.
